The Architectural Studio
Trumbull-Nelson completed a 14,680 square foot addition to the Grantham Village Elementary School creating new classrooms, an art room, and music room. The Company also renovated 27,000 square feet of the current school. As Construction Manager, Trumbull-Nelson was honored to play a role in the Town of Grantham's inspirational commitment to the future of the community.

Delta Delta Delta Sorority House at Dartmouth College

Trumbull-Nelson completed a fast-track, 7,000 square foot renovation to Delta Delta Delta Sorority House during Dartmouth College's summer term. The work involved complete replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems, and modification to the existing sprinkler system. A project goal was to provide handicap access into the building and to provide necessary modifications to the kitchen, rest rooms and living space for the onsite residence.

Proctor Academy/Slocumb Hall Addition and Renovation

Trumbull-Nelson recently completed work on Slocumb Hall (once used as a dormitory building) replacing the north end of the building with a new entrance accessing a lobby with a photography classroom and dark room facility, and leading to a new entrance to the existing studio art room. Slocumb Hall is a historically significant structure, first used as a village livery stable.
Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church

Trumbull-Nelson recently completed a 2-story, 4000 square foot addition to Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church in Plymouth, NH to include a Fellowship Hall and religious education classrooms. The work also addressed needed handicap accessibility, and offered space for future kitchen expansion.
Richard W. Black Community and Senior Center

The Richard W. Black Community and Senior Center Project involved the skilled orchestration of construction around the needs of multi-users, each with a unique set of interests and requirements. The 23,000 square foot facility supports the needs of

Harvest Hill Phase 1 and 2 is a 90,000 square foot, independent and assisted-living residential community located on 20 acres behind Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. The design includes 76 one-and-two bedroom apartments and offers a growing elderly population
the choice of a retirement community providing independence, and also assistance to meet individual needs.
Kendal at Hanover

Trumbull-Nelson was Construction Manager for a 46-unit addition, and 48,000 square feet of renovation at the Assisted-Living Retirement Community. The Project included construction of an 1800 square foot childcare center and a 2000 square foot adult daycare center.
Dunbar Free Library

Experiencing a substantial increase in circulation figures over the last few years, the Town of Grantham decided to move forward with an addition to the Dunbar Free Library. The addition, designed to look like the existing library, was a notable balance of "new and old", "cost and aesthetics", and is a proud complement to the original facility. The addition was completed well ahead of schedule and on budget.
Howe Library

Trumbull-Nelson recently completed a 12,000 square foot addition and 18,000 square feet of renovation to the Howe Library. Serving as Construction Managers, the Company worked with the Design Team of Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott. Trumbull-Nelson also served as Construction Managers on the original building project, completed in 1975. AVA Gallery and Art Center

Trumbull-Nelson competed extensive renovations and updates to the
AVA Gallery and Art Center, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The building once housed the H. W. Carter overall factory. The 120-by-75-foot building encloses 36,000 square feet and rises over 40 feet high. The work helped to create new gallery, classroom and studio space and included upgrade to all electrical, plumbing and fire protection services. On this Project, AVA followed Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) guidelines. A LEED Gold Level rating for the building was achieved.

Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse

The distinct 6,000 square foot Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse serves Dartmouth College's Rugby Teams. The main level of the clubhouse includes paneled trophy rooms and a kitchen serving area. The building's lower level includes changing rooms and a trainer's room. The interior includes wood and granite flooring. The exterior siding consists of western red cedar shingles. Stratton Mountain School

Trumbull-Nelson completed a Faculty Residence and Dormitory Project for the Stratton Mountain School, in Stratton Mountain, Vermont. The work created 6 new housing units for faculty, and dormitory space for ten additional students. The Company also competed work on an addition to the School's Burtcher Fieldhouse (including a training and weight room, stretching and storage areas, locker, laundry and tech room.
